The Vision
Kim Hertwig is a skilled and experienced legal professional with a clear vision of serving the Niagara Region. It is her goal to use her legal knowledge and experience to provide personalized attention to each client. Scroll down to get to know her better.
Kim Hertwig was born and raised in St. Catharines. She graduated from Brock University with a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and History, then graduated from Robson Hall Law School at the University of Manitoba where she received the award for highest marks in Gender and the Law. Her final paper was published in York University's Canadian Woman Studies Journal (Vol. 19, Issue 1-2). She was called to the Bar in 2001. Kim started in private practice before working as a lawyer for the local children's aid society. She then worked at the Law Society of Ontario before returning to the practice of law in 2024, focusing on family law matters.
Kim has been involved in various professional and community organizations, including: Vice-Chair of the Ontario Association of Children's Aid Societies, Secretary of the Lincoln County Law Association, member of the Local Judicial Liaison Committee, and Board Member of Big Brothers, Big Sisters. Most recently, she is President of the Board of Directors for the Niagara Youth Orchestra.
Kim accepts Legal Aid certificates, and offers virtual meetings for clients.
